The rooms were absolutely massive and super comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise. The location of the hotel was also spot on, with everything we needed within walking distance. And let's not forget about the breakfast - it was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from.
There were a few downsides to our stay. The plumbing in the bathroom was quite noisy and the shower had inconsistent water temperature.

Hotel was very clean, in a nice location (3 metro station within 5-10 min walk), and nice, quiet sorrounding. It's a definitely a good value for a price. The breakfast could be a bit mixed instead of having the same 'composition' every day, but it's seems fresh and enough to get a good start. There is not much to really complain about it and it's definitely a 'yes'.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room for the price I paid at this hotel in Berlin. The staff at De Ela were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to provide detailed explanations and assistance. The location was convenient, with easy access to the main underground stops and a variety of restaurants nearby.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering a more affordable option.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very basic in terms of furniture and amenities but clean and well kept. The breakfast was lovely. Free wi-fi was a real treat. We picked this hotel because it was close to family we were visiting and were delighted to find that it was also very accessible to central Berlin with a number of subway stops close by. We would definitely stay there again.
Be prepared for a long stair climb (no elevator) to access the hotel and its office. Only one key provided per room, which was a bit of a hassle for two guests not always together; the staff though were very good at providing access to the guest without the key. No phone in room and none accessible in the hotel, nor did staff know where public phones were located close to the hotel. Toilet made a very long and loud sound after being flushed as did water being drained in the shower and sink. However, these are all minor complaints. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

A very pleasant room with more than enough space to accomodate all of the persons in our party. Great value for the number of people and the service we recieved. Public parking is available, and public transportation is easy to find/use. If I return to Berlin, I will stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, with two metro stations just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city center. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. The high ceilings and huge windows created an incredible sense of space and freedom. The staff was outstanding, especially the lady at the reception who was exceptionally nice and helpful. We also appreciated the free street parking nearby, which made our stay even more convenient. this hotel had everything we needed for a fantastic stay: great cleanliness, excellent hotel facilities, easy access to transportation, and a central location close to major attractions.
Nothing, it was perfect. Our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations, leaving us with no complaints whatsoever.

personnel was friendly, the hotel was quiet and easily accessible
the floors creak which is annoying, the strength of the wireless inside the rooms is weak and there were no signs to find the breakfast room

the staff were helpful, and for what i paid i thought it was very fair. it was good to have free wifi. The breakfast was also ok for the price.
well, you get what you pay for, and you do miss little things like a chair in the room, complimentary shampoo, space in the bathroom, bar or lounge area etc

The hotel has excellent fare quite affordable, but even so, the services are very good. 1. The staff are very friendly and attentive. 2. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable, great beds. 3. The breakfast is enough to start the day. 4. The wireless service is very good, the network is fast and free for clientes.5. There are restaurants and cafes next to the Hotel. The hotel is 15 minutes (walking) from the region of Zoologischer Garten, Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche and Ka De We. I recommend it.

Our one-night stay at this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! The staff, super friendly and English-speaking, made us feel right at home. Despite the dated appearance, the room was surprisingly spacious and impeccably clean. The beds were jaw-droppingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Located in a calm and safe area, it was easy to explore the city using the nearby multiple underground lines. The stable internet connection was a plus, and we even got to borrow a blow dryer. a top-notch experience in every aspect, from the helpful staff to the cozy and clean room.
